On behalf of the Board of Power to Change, I am delighted to announce that Donna Hastings has joined the Board, effective June 1, 2021.

Donna comes to the Board with extensive experience in the health and non-profit sectors. She has held senior leadership positions with the Heart and Stroke Foundation since 2005 including Chief Executive Officer of Heart and Stroke – Alberta, NWT and Nunavut. She resides in Calgary and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Western Canada.

Her higher education background began at the University of Saskatchewan, the province she calls home, and includes the University of Alberta and the Ivey Business School at Western University. More recently, Donna has completed her Masters of Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University.

Having been involved in Board leadership for a number of years in faith-based organizations, Donna has a calling and gift to give leadership at a Board level where she continues to serve. Donna has also been actively involved with the LeaderImpact ministry in Calgary and as Chair of the City Team has worked along with LI staff and volunteers to expand the impact of the ministry in the Calgary business community.

In accepting this invitation to serve with the P2C Board, Donna agrees with Jim Elliot – “Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.”
