Robert recalls the story of a representative he met during a Christian Embassy business tour who came to Christ:
An ambassador from El Salvador joined the business tour that Christian Embassy put together to go to Windsor in 2009. I asked him what he thought about the spiritual concept of the tour. The ambassador appreciated that these were people of faith, as he was Catholic, but he believed his view was not faith-based. I said to him, “You know, it is not about your religious upbringing; it’s about knowing Jesus personally.” I offered to meet with him at his office and open up the Bible to take a closer look at Jesus in the Gospels. He said yes to my offer. After three appointments, he opened his heart to Jesus. He then said to me, “I’m not going to change from being a Catholic.” I responded to him saying that it was not about becoming a Protestant; it’s about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. His wife had been praying for him for years to come to faith in Christ. They are now both walking with Him and attending an evangelical church.
