Break Forth One: For Worship Leaders

With amazing keynote speakers, classes, and worship, this weekend conference is a great way to connect, study, and learn with other Christ-followers. As a worship leader attending Break Forth One, there are many activities and workshops for you to enjoy. Here are some suggested classes to help make the most of your time at the conference!

Friday, January 26, 2018

Get a good night’s rest, because registration opens early on the first day of Break Forth One. The first day is devoted to personal and professional development, a day for you and your team. Choose from a variety of workshops and dive deep into one area of spiritual growth and ministry.

Workshop – “Songwriting”

Learn songwriting from some of the most prolific songwriters in modern worship music today. Ben Cantelon, Hillsong Worship and Carolyn Arends will give a window into how they write songs for the local and global church, and finding your own voice within the art of songwriting.

Workshop – “Worship Leadership”

Hillsong Worship leaders share their experience and provide insight into what it means to effectively lead people into a place of worship. Brian Doerksen shares his knowledge about leading worship and song selection. Worship leader Jon Buller explores the roots of the Old and New Testament and how each correspond to worship today.

Late Night Concert

As the first day comes to an end, spend your evening at the Israel Houghton and New Breed concert. This group of world class musicians and singers, combined with well known worship songs, have created a new sound that has revolutionized contemporary praise and worship music. Lift your spirits, and enjoy your evening!
