Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of King David, was raised from the dead. This is the Good News I preach. (2 Tim 2:8)
The first Easter Sunday was the most significant event in human history. The resurrection changed everything.
Not only did God come in the flesh, but He lived as we did, and then died as a sacrifice for our sins. However, without the resurrection, our faith is meaningless.
Paul makes this clear in 1 Corinthians 15:
And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless. And we apostles would all be lying about God—for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead… And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. (1 Cor. 15:14-15, 17–19)
Our mission at Power to Change is to help people know Jesus and experience his power to change the world. This Easter, I pray that you would know the power of the resurrection and share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with those around you.
May you and your family enjoy a wonderful Easter season!
