Classes have started for university and college students across Canada, and so have our P2C-Students communities! Pandemic restrictions and guidelines vary for each province and school, so it’s another year with a unique start. Amidst these challenges, God is also providing unique opportunities to connect with students.

Whether in person or online, student volunteers and staff are getting creative as they help new students get plugged into Christian community, with the hope of helping them take their next steps towards Jesus. Curious to see what’s been happening coast-to-coast? Check out the images below.

University of Alberta: They enthusiastically gave out welcome packages to students at the UofA Clubs Fair!
McGill University: First and second year students attend a welcome night; they’re so excited to get plugged into the community.
Queen’s University: Student leaders gathered to plan and dream about what God will do this school year.
Carleton University: Hybrid ministry is still happening. Whether in person or online, students are getting connected!
Ryerson University: This group created opportunities to hang out on campus with old and new friends.
Calgary: Student leaders and staff from the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University came together for a BBQ to plan and pray for September.
Halifax:  This city-wide community held a Welcome Week Worship event. Christian students (or those interested in a spiritual community) could meet each other and get connected – whether to a student ministry, a church, a group of friends, or all of the above!
University of Toronto: Who doesn’t love pizza? First years at UofT were invited to a pizza party to meet the P2C-Students community.
University of Waterloo: 75 new students, 19 student leaders and 4 staff stood out in the rain for over 2 hours at a welcome event.
University of Toronto Global Community: Watch this video to see how international students were welcomed as they adjust to life on campus or in Canada.
Concordia University: Christian clubs gathered together for an evening worship session to kick off the school year.
