It happened again just the other day. A friend from British Columbia asked me why, of all places, I had chosen to move to Quebec to work with Power to Change – Students.
So I told him about the great need for the gospel in Quebec. I explained how the unique history of Quebec has resulted in a province where today only 1 in 200 people are actively trying to follow Jesus. And as I shared about the challenges of ministering in a post-Christian environment where there is so much skepticism about Christianity, he asked me a great question, one that I think a lot about.
“In light of the great challenge of ministering in Quebec, what signs of hope do you see that the kingdom of God is gaining ground in Quebec?”
Here are a few stories that have been signs of hope to me over the past year.
