Cold, hard logic dictates that the cause of nature cannot be natural if we are to avoid the circular fallacy. Logic dictates, therefore, that the cause of nature must be not-natural (i.e., supernatural)
It may be impossible to fully understand the divine Trinity this side of death. Nonetheless, I believe there is an example of another trinity, much closer to us than we realize, that might advance our understanding of the Triune God who is Father, Son and Spirit.
In over a century of selective breeding experiments to see how far we can evolve a plant or animal, we consistently observe limits to how much an organism can change. It almost seems as if plants and animals were designed to reproduce after their own kind, rather than evolve new kinds. Now, science may have discovered why. Each kind of life may have a subset of genes that are unique to that organism.
