House of Worship Ministries is an initiative of Power to Change – Students that invites students and young adults through music and the arts to encounter, dwell in, and be changed by the Spirit of God together. Their vision is to see students and young adults live a life of worship in every major city across Canada.
How House of Worship Began
House of Worship started in 2015 as a handful of students gathering in apartments with a deep desire to passionately worship Jesus and make him known in the city of Montreal. Over the years, through various initiatives of sharing the gospel through music and the arts, gathering to pray and worship over our cities, and connecting people to Christian community, House of Worship has grown to various cities in Canada. House of Worship partnered with P2C-Students as its music and arts division in 2018, and is excited to see God continue to move as he leads students and young adults into living lives of worship.
What We Do
- Reach students and young adults with music and the arts
- We host worship outreach initiatives in public spaces such parks, metro stations, university campuses, and churches. We create musical and artistic content to reach students and young adults online as well.
- Gather students and young adults to pray and worship over our cities
- We host big and small musical worship events to pray and worship over our cities. We also facilitate musical worship in churches and at conferences.
- Connect students and young adults to Christian community
- We lead students and young adults towards a life of worship by connecting them to a local church and Christian community on campus.
