I participated in a Mandarin speaking mission trip because I wanted to grow in my faith in my native language. Since I became a Christian while overseas, and attend an English speaking church, everything I experience in my Christian faith is using English. It was weird at first to read the Bible, pray, sing songs, and talk with brothers and sisters in Mandarin. Now it is natural and important to me.

Why go to Germany?
Germany attracts many of the best Chinese international students and scholars. In fact, it has the most Chinese international students in Europe. Over the years, many of these students have become Christians and have established Chinese churches in Germany. We have an opportunity to come alongside these believers and help them connect with even more students.
God is at work in Germany. Will you join him where he is working, to share the good news of Jesus with Mandarin-speaking students?

What happens on the Germany mission trip?
With a Mandarin-speaking team, you’ll share your life and the good news of Jesus with Chinese international students in the city of Nuremberg, Germany.
You’ll help these students take their next step towards Jesus—in Mandarin!
In Germany, you will:
- Build friendships with Chinese international students
- Host culturally-relevant activities to gather Chinese students
- Partner with local Chinese churches and student fellowships, praying and worshiping alongside your team and other believers
- Learn from local church leaders and receive training on ministry among Chinese students
- Encourage local believers—and be encouraged—as you share stories of God at work
- Help Chinese Christians connect to community
- Take part in fun activities and excursions
You’ll end the trip with a team debrief and conversations about next steps.
Since this trip is entirely in Mandarin, fluency in this language is required.

3 things to highlight
Ministry in Mandarin: You’ll learn to tell your story, share the gospel, and help with Bible studies in Mandarin.
Deep friendships: You’ll meet many Chinese international students. You’ll depend on God to build authentic friendships, connect students to Christian community, and give them opportunities to hear the gospel.
Church partnerships: You’ll partner with local Chinese churches. You’ll learn from church leaders, see how God is working among them, and encourage local believers.
