"Going on a short-term mission to Vietnam opened my eyes to how God can work through anyone. Even though I had doubts and felt inadequate at first, I can honestly say that God used me and my team to spread the gospel to students in a foreign country. This experience has made my faith in him stronger."
Enoch, 2023
Why go to Vietnam?
Of the 96 million people in this country, only a few know Christ. There are millions who have no church exposure or a Bible of their own.
Vietnam is changing rapidly and opening up to the gospel like never before. On this mission trip, you’ll work with local partners to engage students with the gospel so that the good news of Jesus can spread throughout the country and beyond.
Be a part of a community living on mission, as together you learn to share the gospel in a culturally relevant way.

What happens on the Vietnam mission trip?
You’ll come alongside our local partnership to develop genuine friendships with Vietnamese students. You’ll give them opportunities to hear the gospel. And you’ll learn together with your team as you engage cross-culturally in ministry, friendship, and life.
A typical weekly schedule will include:
- Team-building
- Praying and studying the Bible
- Helping host English clubs
- Attending the local Christian students’ fellowship and a local church
- Building friendships with locals by having picnics, going to cafes, playing sports, etc.
- Being mentored by a P2C staff member
- Resting and adventuring

How will this trip deepen roots and widen horizons?
Deepen your roots as you:
- Come alongside what God is already doing in Vietnam
- Rely on the Holy Spirit daily as you learn, make friends, and minister in a new culture
- Live full-time in a community focused on knowing and sharing Jesus
Widen your horizons as you:
- Grow in befriending others from a different country, culture, and worldview
- Explore the beauty and culture of Vietnam
- Learn from new local friends, Vietnamese Christians , and each other as we live in community
