Finding answers to life’s toughest questions

“Does God exist? Do I matter to Him? Can a scientist believe in God? Where is God when life hurts? Is God against my freedom? Is unconditional love possible? …”

Students who don’t know Jesus are seeking answers to questions like these and Christian students desire training on how to respond with Biblical answers.

Power to Change – Students forumn

Many of our campus ministries are in the habit of hosting events as platforms to converse with students who are seeking answers to tough questions. One highlight this year was our Relevant Series in Toronto. This week of outreach was co-sponsored by Power to Change and a variety of other ministries, including Ravi Zacharias International Ministries.

The series of 17 events was attended by 1500 people over the course of a week and prompted many gospel conversations leading to a few students already making decisions to follow Jesus, like Anika. Anika attended an event titled “Why would God die for me?” Even though she had grown up in a Christian background, she had never taken her faith seriously and was about ready to give up on it altogether. She was touched by the talk and with tears in her eyes, she finally committed her life to the Jesus.

“Students are asking tough questions about life, God, morals, faith, and identity. These worldview questions need Biblical answers, but they also need to be intelligent answers.” – Helmut
