Journeying together through prayer and partnership

We  long for the day when no student graduates without engaging with the life-changing message of Jesus.

With over 2.5 million post-secondary students in Canada, this is no small task. We know that we cannot accomplish this vision alone. We must serve prayerfully and in partnership with other ministries who also share this desire – God’s desire – for students’ to know Jesus.

We are experiencing unprecedented unity among student ministry leaders in Canada. In November, National Director Sean Cullen joined with 11 other ministry leaders for a prayer retreat to pray for the students of Canada and for each other.

Sean notes, “If we come together and share our meager resources—our ideas, our time, our funds, our people—and if we come together and pray earnestly for Jesus to put his hands on our mission, there will be an abundance of very good work to do.”

Jesus has commanded us to work together as the body of Christ. We can go farther together….

“As this amazing group of leaders wrapped up our time in prayer together, we shared a deep sense of expectancy: God wants us do something new in this generation, something that will require us to work together.”

This group of leaders continue to journey together in prayer, prioritizing time for listening to the Lord together as we discern how as a group of ministries we can have the greatest possible impact on this generation of Canadian students.
