In January 2024, I met Jesus and went from being an atheist to knowing that Jesus is God in one second. Within the next six weeks, He invited me to lay down pieces of the false identity I had built around my career, a relationship, and my friendships. A year later, He told me that I would be interviewing athletes about their faith and identity, and I said to Him, “That’s not going to happen. I’m not qualified in any way.”
Four months later, I was sitting across from a former NFL athlete, filming his testimony about keeping his identity in Christ in a world that so often places identity on a scoreboard.
The day I met Jesus, He brought me out of Egypt. Since then, He has been intentionally focused on getting Egypt out of me—teaching me to translate the truths I know about God into truths I actually believe about Him.
Because of that, my heart burns for people not just to know about the good news, but to know their identity as sons and daughters of the Heavenly Father.
“All of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.”
2 Corinthians 5:18–19
Today, I’m working with Athletes in Action, filming testimonies of athletes and the ways they are learning to anchor their identity in Christ.
If and how you feel led by the LORD, I want to invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in this ministry—through prayer, encouragement, and financial support. My desire is to use the skills and opportunities God has given me to help people encounter the truth that their identity is not found in what they accomplish, what they achieve, or what the world says about them, but in who they are in Christ.
