During my university years, I often felt that my faith and school communities were completely separate, which led to deep feelings of isolation and loneliness on campus. During that time, God placed someone connected to Power to Change directly in my path. Through that connection, I became involved as a student leader as Power to Change became an official club on the Laurier Brantford campus. Through this community, I found friendships that encouraged me, challenged me, and kept me accountable in my faith, especially within the university context. Having personally experienced the impact of mentorship and Christian community, I now feel called to walk alongside students navigating similar feelings of isolation and questions of faith, helping them encounter Jesus and build meaningful relationships rooted in Christ.
