Hi friend!

I'm James (or Jamie...you choose!) and I serve as the Associate Director of Operations & Fund Capacity with Power to Change.

I love creating the conditions where ministry can flourish - or, as I sometimes put it, helping “unfrustrate” ministry by removing the barriers that can make good ministry harder than it needs to be. Behind every thriving ministry are healthy people, wise systems, and strong support. My role is to strengthen those foundations so our staff and leaders can spend more time with people and less time wrestling with processes.

Sometimes this looks like improving our technology making our operations work more smoothly. Other times it means developing leaders and equipping staff to thrive where they're planted. I do this work because I know that a healthy foundation frees us to focus on what matters most: helping more people know Jesus and experience His power to change the world.

My wife Alanna and I are raising three little ladies in Vancouver, where life is wonderfully full of laughter, chaos, kitchen dance parties, and countless opportunities to rely on Jesus. We're incredibly thankful for the community of ministry partners who pray, encourage, and love us so well!
