Position Overview
The Associate Director ministers to political, diplomatic and business leaders, inspiring them to reach their peers. The Associate Director partners with the Executive Director, focusing on the facilitation of strategic and organizational goals and overseeing technical and logistical operations of the CE.
About the Role

Relationship-Building and Outreach (45%)
Leaders are discovering Jesus and choosing to live for Him.
Cultivate and nurture trusted relationships with influential leaders.
Provide spiritual counsel, prayer and encouragement to support individuals.
Proactively share Christ through meaningful, personal dialogue.
Facilitate spiritual growth through fellowship, biblical reflection and leadership development.
Spearhead the coordination and execution of high-impact outreach events with the team.
Strengthening the Christian Embassy (30%)
The CE is increasing its influence and impact on the lives of leaders.
Optimize ministry technology and operational needs to ensure seamless effectiveness.
Partner with the Director to pursue the vision, strategy and resource development for the CE.
Contribute to team engagement and growth, fostering a collaborative, inspiring environment.
Help lead the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are well-equipped.
Evaluate ministry impact by analyzing current realities; collaborate with the Director to refine future initiatives.
Training and Engagement (20%)
Leaders are pointing peers to Jesus.
Mobilize leaders to effectively impact their own spheres of influence for Christ.
Mentor leaders in discipleship, actively inviting them to engage in CE outreaches/projects.
Partnering with other Leaders (5%)
Greater collaborative kingdom impact.
Establish strategic networks with key ministry, organizational and church leaders.
Serve as a speaker and trainer to equip churches and groups to effectively minister to leaders.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is highly preferred; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
Diplomatic Protocol: Knowledge and experience with international protocol, etiquette, and the nuances of working within global political and diplomatic environments.
Ministry Partner Development
5-10% of a staff member's work hours are to be designated to MPD (ex. two (2) to four (4) hours/week for those working 40 hours/week). This involves regular communication and cultivation with current ministry partners, taking opportunities to challenge partners to increase their support or give additional special gifts, as well as making connections with potential new ministry partners.
Other Responsibilities
Active participation in Chapel services and other ministry specific prayer / bible study times.
Attendance and participation in the semi-annual Worldwide Day of Prayer.
Attendance and participation in All Staff Forums.
Special projects as assigned by the Christian Embassy Executive Director.

Alignment and Integrity: Full commitment to respecting and advancing Power to Change’s (P2C) leadership, organizational methods, and ministry models.
Education and Experience
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree or advanced certification is strongly preferred.
Leadership Track Record: Minimum of 7 years of proven leadership experience in an organizational/corporate setting, demonstrating effective management and strategic oversight.
Cultural Competency: Documented experience in international or cross-cultural ministry, highlighting the ability to engage effectively across diverse backgrounds.

This position requires Ministry Partner Development (MPD), often called ‘support raising,’ which is an integral part of being in ministry. Power to Change believes the biblical process of MPD will provide the necessary financial support for the candidate's salary and expenses, and the prayer support needed to sustain their commitment. Power to Change is committed to providing training and ongoing coaching through the MPD journey. MPD is a critical part of your ministry; it requires a clear vision and perseverance.
