Funding

This position requires Ministry Partner Development (MPD), often called ‘support raising,’ which is an integral part of being in ministry. Power to Change believes the biblical process of MPD will provide the necessary financial support for the candidate’s salary and expenses, and the prayer support needed to sustain their commitment. Power to Change is committed to providing training and ongoing coaching through the MPD journey. MPD is a critical part of your ministry; it requires a clear vision and perseverance.

For this particular role, 5-10% of a staff member's work hours are to be designated to MPD (ex. two (2) to four (4) hours/week for those working 40 hours/week). This involves regular communication and cultivation with current ministry partners, taking opportunities to challenge partners to increase their support or give additional special gifts, as well as making connections with potential new ministry partners.
