Victory beyond competition

Sport is the one language that knows no boundaries and sees no distinctions. It unites cultures, transcends values and defies convention. That’s why Athletes in Action is committed to using the language of sport to communicate the most powerful message of all: God’s passionate love for His children.

“Getting involved with AIA left a lasting impact on my life that I am forever thankful for. Through AIA, I received immense support and encouragement that helped me grow in my understanding of God, about His love for us and His word. I felt my faith emerge, creating positive effects in many aspects of my life, despite being a broken being. I can now say I have surrendered control of my life to Jesus, something I would have never been able to do on my own without the blessing that AIA has been to me.” - Danae, a member of the University of Regina Cougars softball team.

“Being a part of AIA is like our church in a lot of ways. During the football season when you’re away from your home and from what you’re used to, it becomes your family. It keeps you grounded and keeps you focused on Christ and what’s really important in our lives. It gives us a brotherhood of guys who are believers.” - Keith Shologan, defensive lineman for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, CFL
