Thriving through a new small group experience
We know that community is one of the key things that students need in order to thrive in their faith while they are on campus. Together through prayer, studying the Bible, and taking steps of faith to share Jesus with others, students become effective at living a life of intentionality for the kingdom of God.
Over the last few years, we have been in the process of updating our small group experience. These studies allow students to lead other students in studying the Bible, examining their own faith and taking steps of faith together as they put their faith in action.
The gospel never changes, but culture and current issues certainly do. The updates and re-design are meant to meet this generation’s needs and we’re excited for the impact these studies are already having.
“‘Foundations’ did a great job of expanding on and giving meaning to the core beliefs/practices that we as Christians are called to follow. The ‘Main Takeaways’ helped me lead the discussion questions to really drive home what should be applied in our daily walks with Christ.” Benjamin, Discipleship Group Leader, York University.
We have plans to publish a full set of 16 studies. Have a look at the first 3:
